Workday is a cloud-based enterprise resource management (ERP) suite which is suitable for global businesses of all sizes in a variety of industry verticals. Workday delivers the user and administrative tools across financials, HR, planning, talent, payroll, analytics, student and more from a single system.
Workday released its 1st product named Workday Human Capital Management in 2006 and it spread its financial suite called Workday Financial Management in the later years.
The Workday HCM has attained importance primarily, but the company worked hard and to accomplish its financial software more competitive with other ERP systems by combining outlining and analytics features, budgeting, etc.
HCM was first to manage your daily HR Functions, Financials was second to manage a company’s day to day financials and student was third to manage all aspects of a student at an educational institution. This is application is not fully GA. And Learning is the last new application.
